Follow the fun conversation Grandparents and I as I interview them over facetime to hear their take on their life in the 50s as a couple in their twenties. (Now 80s!)
what can they remember, if anything and does this have any reflection on what time was actually like?
They were both born and raised in the small village of Ingatestone in the south east of England, to working class parents. They raised their 3 children in the same village and lived throughout an evolving society.
This is what they have to say.

“switch it off a minute, do we say Grandad or do you say Fred and Maureen Nicoll, ahh that will do then, yeah alright mate.” - Grandad Fred and his pre interview quote.
