As creative individuals in the industry we put so much pressure onto ourselves to be creative that, that creativity is lost.
As a student in a creative space, I feel it is a super challenging thing to constantly expect yourself to be full of new original to you ideas and to even feel pride about the work you are producing when 70+ other students are also doing the same work, working on the same brief. Its impossible not to compare yourself, especially when we are all in the same ripe ages of 18 to 21. Its impossible. Most people would assume I place my blame on the education system and university but surprisingly that's not where all my blame goes, I don't really blame anything, its just truth, the physiology of being a creative person.

As creatives we are all outside of the box people and non of us want to be the same as the rest, but by being 'a creative' we are indeed in a box, well a box in society anyway, a tax bracket box or a 'keep funding the arts' box or a 'we don't like your system' box, yet why are we all still in it, the very system of education that we shit on.
To put it frank its because we need the box to feel a belonging and to have a community of like minds, but that just puts us back to the circular narrative of a creatives brain.
We all need to aspire to reach that point of self actualisation were comparison or jealousy is far from out for fronts, personally I try to do this through meditation, journaling or 'just faking it till I make it', which surprisingly if you tell your self you don't care enough it usually takes away those obsessive comparable thoughts.
But then society shuns us for having a god complex or being selfish, stuck up, boastful, when really we are just trying to escape the harsh world of comparison and negative self reflection.
you cant win, and accepting that is a great first step. By just authentically being ourselves we are creative, who do we need to actually prove that too? really?. no one, no one but ourselves. Be proud of being a creative and never stop.
